Alternative Fuel Deployment and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)
There are several alternative fuel options available to auto commuters outside conventional Gasoline & Diesel. Some of these include propane (also known as Auto-gas), Biodiesel, E85 as well as natural gas in its two main fueling forms Compressed (CNG) and Liquefied (LNG).
Of all these options, CNG stands out and remains the cheapest and cleanest "bridge fuel" to use until other clean energy sources come on line. The following are some of the reasons why we focus on CNG as the lead alternative fuel we deploy for our clients.
CLEANER: CNG is one of the cleanest burning alternative fuels available, natural gas powered vehicles (NGVs) emit up to 30% less greenhouse gases than gasoline or diesel vehicles. It has been documented that engines running on CNG last longer due to less engine build-up compared to traditiona Gasoline and Diesel.
CHEAPER: The use of CNG reduces costs significantly for vehicle and fleet owners. Natural gas averages anywhere from $1.50 to $2.00 less per gallon than diesel or gasoline. Natural gas averages up to $1.50 or more per gallon than diesel or gasoline.
ABUNDANT: Often referred to as the, "Saudi Arabia of Natural Gas", the U.S. has an esimated 120-year supply of natural gas, according to a June 2008 study. Increasing use of NGVs reduces our dependence on foreign oil and enhances our nation's energy security.
ACCESSIBLE: With a vast distribution network of pressurized natural gas CNG can easily be deployed for fueling solutions. Unlike extensive wind, solar or other green sources of energy, CNG is cheap and is available now. You can even go out and buy a new car today that runs on CNG.
At O2O Energy we can help your Indiana based company fleet begin saving money today by converting your vehicles to a Natural Gas Vehicle; installing a station on your site or connecting you to one of our local gas stations.
Modular Renewable Power Deployment
With most underdeveloped countries underserved by their governments in matters of power
generation, O2O Energy has looked to fill the gap by deploying standalone off-grid battery based solar power system.
Off grid power allows the end user to become a self-run electric company. When the sun shines the solar panels store excess electricity in batteries allowing you to draw it out later on-demand. An off-grid inverter can convert the DC energy from solar panels and batteries into AC electricity which powers normal appliances. The following systems are currently in R&D stage:
- MSP-0.5 Micro Solar Systems – 500 Watt
- MSP-1.5 Small Solar Systems – 1500 Watt
- MSP-3.0 Medium Solar Systems – 3000 Watt
- MSP-6.0 Large Solar Systems – 6000Watt
Mobile Truck Power Generation
Imagine you could turn your everyday truck into an on-demand onsite generator for you
power needs. With power delivery anywhere from 12kW - 150kW of constant A.C. power; the
days of hauling generators along with drums of gas on flat beds to worksites is over.
This technology created by a strategic O2O Energy partner works for any company that needs
trucks as well as generators for onsite work, with this you get both in one clean package.
- Ease of transportation: Eliminates the transportation difficulties of loading and off-loading big generators on and off flatbeds.
- Theft and tamper deterrent: Since the truck (generator) is driven to and from the headquarters to the site daily, we eliminate the chances that thegenerator is stolen or tampered with.
- Improved safety: Since the truck's tank serves as the tank storage there remains no need for hauling hundreds of gallons of flammable fuels about in cans (additional fuels storage can be added to the truck upon request).
- Reduced equipment weight: The generator weight is directly mounted onto the truck is much lighter than heavier traditional generators (1400lbs vs. 3000lbs for a 150kW system).
